2021-12-13t6000-t9999: detect and signal failure within loopEric Sunshine
Failures within `for` and `while` loops can go unnoticed if not detected and signaled manually since the loop itself does not abort when a contained command fails, nor will a failure necessarily be detected when the loop finishes since the loop returns the exit code of the last command it ran on the final iteration, which may not be the command which failed. Therefore, detect and signal failures manually within loops using the idiom `|| return 1` (or `|| exit 1` within subshells). 2013-05-09git-svn: added an --include-path flagPaul Walmsley
The SVN::Fetcher module is now able to filter for inclusion as well as exclusion (as used by --ignore-path). Also added tests, documentation changes and git completion script. If you have an SVN repository with many top level directories and you only want a git-svn clone of some of them then using --ignore-path is difficult as it requires a very long regexp. In this case it's much easier to filter for inclusion. [ew: remove trailing whitespace] Signed-off-by: Paul Walmsley <pjwhams@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Eric Wong <normalperson@yhbt.net>
